KnowledgeRICH
The Knowledge Rich Portal is a Yorkshire Forward project that identifies and brokers relationships between commerical and academic organisations in research, development and production projects. My role as senior designer was to re-design the clients exisiting website into something more inviting, inspirational and reflective of the dynamic nature of the organisations editorial output.
Besides the networking and introductions service that Knowledge Rich provides, it generates a high level of informative editorial that forms a core part of it's knowledge base and marketing proposition to potential clients.
Using a clear grid and column based approach. Quba realised a typographically friendly website, providing useful search tools and clustered content to deliver the most relevant stories and publications to the user.
Macromedia Flash was used at the homepage level drawing the user into the most recent key-note articles. In addition to leading the creative look and feel on this project, I also oversaw the front-end markup development to ensure that the site attained the strictest levels of access compliance.
