Ha ha, yes I am THAT cheesy !! It was brilliant and I'll never forget the total buzz I got when they came on stage! I have been to loads more gigs since then, most a lot cooler (!) but I went to see them again last November and some 14 years later (and older!) I still have a soft spot for the lovely Mark Owen ! ;-) My first gig was Take That, 1993 at GMex - even bought a Mark Owen t-shirt ! Ha ha, yes I am THAT cheesy !! It was brilliant and I’ll never forget the total buzz I got when they came on stage! Maine Road really was a great gig yeah, the thing I remember most about that night was how clear the sky, and how huge the moon was coming down over the stand as they played Champagne Supernova; another sublime moment! Something tells me that this was also one of those rock and roll inspired - 'people in the same head space' collective moments again (although 30,000 Vs 2 this time!) which is how it felt at the time; because the camera man for the official video captured it too! Remember how quiet and content everyone was on the coach coming back? That was a great night for many reasons ;) Because I’ve never told it to anyone before!
